Our client requested a custom size farmhouse table providing us dimensions, color of the top and an overall basic design. The final design and material selection was left to the discretion of Coyote Creek.
The base is constructed of hand hewn timbers for the legs and oak studs from a century old house undergoing a renovation. The base is mortise and through tenon construction with hand made pegs and keys holding the base rock solid. Rough sawn, insect killed Ash used for the top machined to an elegant, rustic surface accentuated with beautiful grain structure, insect tracts and distinguished knots. All components of the table received multiple coats of satin polyurethane for a durable and long lasting finish.
The client was ecstatic with the final product.
